Airport Assist provides priority queues at the King Fahd International Airport at the immigration, security and check-in counters. This service also saves on waiting time during busy seasons and is applicable to short connection flights or business travellers.

Our staff picks up travellers at arrival terminals or departure terminals, assists in the check-in procedures, verifications of documents and takes them through the airport procedures. This includes direction at DMM between transportation areas and terminal facilities.

Airport Assist organizes access to the lounges, like the Primeclass Lounge (International Departures) and Alfursan Lounge (Saudia). These lounges have Wi-Fi services, food services, comfortable seats, and business services.

This service will feature curbside, specific check-in, exclusive escort through the immigration and baggage handling, and arrangement with the high-end lounges to ensure maximum efficiency and privacy.

At DMM, we provide services to limited mobility passengers, wheelchair bound passengers, elderly travellers and those travelling with children. This involves priority lanes, mobility support, and escorting the families within the terminal without complications.

Our porters pick up or deliver baggage to the check-in or baggage claim area to the exit. In the case of arrivals, it involves baggage collection and transportation in the customs and exit areas.

Here are 10 smart, practical tips for navigating a layover or connection at DMM:

• Know your terminal – DMM uses a single main passenger terminal, simplifying connections. Confirm your gate number early through airport displays or airline apps.
• Minimum layover time – For international connections, 2 to 2.5 hours is recommended due to security and passport control.
• Use Fast Track for peak hours – Immigration queues can increase during evening bank arrivals; Fast Track or Meet & Greet helps bypass delays.
• Lounge access – The Primeclass Lounge is available in International Departures. Pre-book access or verify eligibility through airline status or lounge programs.
• Visa and entry rules – Travellers may require a Saudi Transit Visa. Check the latest regulations on the official Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
• Sleep options – DMM does not have an airside transit hotel. For long layovers, passengers typically stay landside or use nearby hotels in Dammam or Khobar.
• Local SIM & Wi-Fi – Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal. STC, Mobily, and Zain kiosks are located in arrivals for SIM purchases.
• Baggage transfers – If ticketed on separate airlines, confirm whether baggage is interlined. Airport Assist can assist with collection and re-checking.
• Transport into the city – Taxis and app-based rides are available at arrivals. Travel time to Dammam city center is approximately 25–30 minutes.
• Prayer rooms & quiet areas – Prayer rooms are available throughout the terminal and can be used during longer layovers for rest.
